Indoor Air Quality in Indoor Sporting Facilities in Australia

    • This paper provides the results from a large baseline study on IAQ in indoor sporting facilities. Most indoor air quality parameters were within Australian and international guidelines and standards. Biological parameters were often found to be below best practice standards. Several issues of general building management, cleaning regime and specific problems such as corrosion were identified. The solutions to these problems should be managed as part of general maintenance regimes.
